History

River City Green is a partner of Watkins Nurseries, Inc. in Midlothian, Virginia. Watkins Nurseries is a wholesale and retail tree nursery and plant center that has been producing field-grown trees and shrubs on over 500 acres of farmland in central Virginia since 1876. Truly a Mom-and-Pop business, Watkins Nurseries has been owned and operated by five generations of the Watkins family. With over 140 years of propagation and growing experience, Watkins Nurseries has opened its arms to a new venture that capitalizes on its strengths.

After our first year of experimentation and development yielded amazing results, we are ready to offer our happy, healthy plants to registered growers in Virginia. River City Green offers select starter hemp plants, mother plants, and clones. Coming soon we will have smokeable flower, CBD oils and CBD derived products!!
